Wipe the outer surfaces of the machine with
a damp cloth.

When the drip tray
(8)
is full (as shown
by the level indicator
(10)
), remove and empty
it. For thorough cleaning, the drip grate
(9)
can be removed from the drip tray
(8)
. Use
only warm water and non-scouring agents to
clean the parts. Also clean the level indicator
(10)
to ensure its continued working. Simply
pull it out. After cleaning, put all parts back
together again. Only use the machine when
it is completely re-assembled.
Occasionally wipe the Bean Select bean
container
(2)
with a damp cloth to remove
any coffee oil or grease.
Regularly empty the coffee grounds container
(11)
– at least 1x a day. For this, push the coffee
outlet
(12)
into the upper position and pull
out the coffee grounds container to the front.
Dispose of the coffee grounds and rinse out
the container with water. The machine is only
ready for use when the coffee grounds
container has been inserted back into the
appliance.
Tip: Throw coffee grounds away with organic
waste or onto the compost heap.
14.2 Cleaning the Perfect Cappuccino
Milk deposits in the Perfect Cappuccino
(14)
can be easily removed. Unscrew the lower
part of the Perfect Cappuccino,

rinse it under running water or put it in the
dishwasher. If you want to clean the spring
coil whisk separately, pull the lower part of
the Perfect Cappuccino out of the steam pipe
(13)

.
After cleaning, push the spring coil whisk
wheel back into the steam pipe
(13)
from
below until it snaps into place. Secure both
to the Perfect Cappuccino.
