12.10.2 Option: PTP Client Monitoring

From Lantime Firmware Version 5.34m onwards

The PTP Client-Monitor can be congured via Front Panel Time Service -> PTP IEEE1588 -> Setup PTP0

IEEE1588 V2 -> PTP Settings -> PTP Parameters -> PTP Client Management (for conguration see

the chapter on User Interfaces) and via Web Interface. In the Front-Panel maximum seven nodes (PTP Clients)

can be displayed. Therefore, for a complete overview the usage of the Web Interface is advised.

By selecting the ptpmmm_0.log button more than 100 PTP nodes can be listed. The list of PTP nodes with

their current status information has the following form:

Prior to one or more PTP nodes monitoring, a list of the PTP clients needs to be generated. The list can

be displayed and edited via Web Interface with the ptp2_client_management_list_of_uuids_0 button.

Each line corresponds to one of the PTP node being monitored. The line format correlates to the nodes

status-info in ptpmmm_0.log (see above). Therewith it is possible to copy the line with a desired PTP node

from the status-info with "Copy" and "Paste" it to the PTP client list.
