PD data reporting—three-phase coil mode
Partial discharge (PD) tests are reported differently depending on whether the test was being
conducted in single-coil mode or three-phase coil mode.
In three-phase coil mode, results are reported in two ways. The first report is the normal surge
report with the PD data included. The waveform displayed is the peak waveform captured during
the testing process for each phase. The PD signal is overlaid on the surge waveform and displayed
with the resolution used during the preceding surge test.
