Power cord
NOTE: Avoid the power cord being torn out of the mains socket, always check that the power cord
sits firmly attached to the cord hook (7) before using the trimmer.
1.
Make a loop in the power cord and push it through the square hole below the trigger (6).
2.
Place the end of the loop around cord hook and ensure that it is tightened hard enough not
to become loose during use.
Feed the line forward
NOTE: A full spool of trimmer line is included with the trimmer.
1.
Feed out new line by pressing the spool firmly on the ground with the appliance switched on.
2.
Run the trimmer for a few seconds without trimming in order to cut the trimmer line to the
right length.
TRIM
NOTE:
– Trim only with the left part of the trimmer head (light grey in the figure)
– Keep the lawn trimmer above the grass when it is moved from left to right, to avoid
throwing up grass.
– On the right side (dark grey in the figure) the trimmer line move towards you. This brings
about a risk of kickback and that objects will be thrown towards you by the line - risk of
personal injury.
– Trim long grass in stages from the top down, otherwise there is a risk of the grass
collecting around the spool.
– Only use the tips of the line. This results in less line usage and a smaller risk of grass
collecting around the spool.
– Avoid working closer to walls, posts, fences, etc. than necessary. Contact with solid objects
means that the line wears more quickly.
– The line can damage trees and bushes
