1.
Remove the blade guard.
2.
Plug the trimmer into the mains supply.

Start the trimmer by pressing the power switch (6). Switch off by releasing the power switch
(6).
– Prevent injury by moving the trimmer backwards.
– Do not overload the trimmer, only trim small areas at one time. The trimmer can then be
operated at high speeds, which increases efficiency.
– Use the edge of the guard as a guide when trimming near fences, walls, etc.
4.
Release the power switch to stop the trimmer.
5.
Unplug the trimmer from the mains socket.
6.
Place the blade guard on the blade.
