A brush cutter or trimmer can be dangerous if used incorrectly or care-
lessly, and can cause serious or fatal injuries. It is extremely important that the
operator reads and understands the contents of these operating instructions.
The operator must read the operating instructions carefully and have understood
all of the instructions before using the machine.
Always wear safety goggles.
Always wear hearing protection.
Always wear protective gloves.
Always wear safety shoes.
Machines equipped with clearing blades or grass blades can swing sideways with
force when the blade comes into contact with a fixed object. The blade is capable
of amputating an arm or leg. Always ensure that people and animals are kept at a
safe distance of 15 metres.
Watch out for objects being ejected or ricocheting.
Do not use saw blades.
