FUEL
NOTE.
• The motor does not come with oil or petrol.
• Never use petrol mixed with oil.
• Always replace old fuel.
• Always turn off the motor when refuelling.
• Never refuel when the motor is warm.
Refilling with oil
1.
Place the sweeper so that the motor is horizontal.
2.
Remove the screw and fill with oil to the brim (see figure 2).
Refilling with petrol
1.
Place the sweeper so that the motor is horizontal during refuelling.
2.
Always use unleaded petrol.
STARTING AND STOPPING
NOTE.
In case of emergency, immediately release the controls to stop the motor.

NOTE.
If the motor does not start after several attempts, there may be too much petrol in the
cylinder/carburettor and the spark plug may be wet. Remove the spark plug and dry it off.
1.
Activate the motor choke (figure 3a).
2.
Place the gas control at max. rpm (figure 3b).
3.
First pull out the drawstring a short way a few times until you feel some resistance.
