• In order to reduce the risk of injury no one should stand behind the tool.
• Place the tool on a stable surface, for example a work bench, and secure it with 4 screws.
USE
WARNING:
• Risk of injury if insufficient personal protective equipment is used! Wear ear protection and safety glasses.
• Guards, power switch or other parts of the power tool that are damaged must be repaired or
replaced at an authorised service centre. Never use a damaged tool.
• The tool is fitted with a spindle brake, but this is not a safety device. The spindle brake should
stop the rotation of the spindle and saw blade within 6 seconds after the power is turned off. If it
does not do this, unplug the tool and leave the tool at an authorised service centre for repair. Do
not use the tool unless all the safety devices are correctly fitted and working.
Starting and stopping the tool
Start – Press in the trigger catch and then press and hold in the trigger.
Stop - Release the trigger.
Correct working stance
• When cutting, stand in the front of the saw on the same side of the blade as the control handle,
completely to the side of the blade plane so as not to be hit by any ejected parts. Risk of pinch
injury Never hold close to the saw head’s pivot mechanism when bevelling or cutting mitres.
Keep a firm grip on the saw head when bevelling.
• Never touch any parts until they have stopped rotating! Keep unrelated persons at a safe
distance from the work area.
• Do not force or overload the tool - use the tool only within the limits specified in the technical data.
Mitre sawing
The saw table can be set at the metre angles: 0°, 15°, 22,5°, 30°, 31,6°, 45°.

Undo the saw table’s locking screw.
2.
Turn the saw table to the left or right until the indicator points to the required angle on the
mitre angle scale.
3.
Adjust the blade if necessary. Undo the screw (1) and set the indicator to the required number
of degrees. Retighten the screw. Test saw and measure with protractor. Repeat until the angle
is exact.
4.
Tighten the locking screw.
