FITTING/REPLACING BLADE
WARNING!
• Remove the battery before working on
the product.
• Wear safety gloves when fitting blades.
1. Keep the spindle lock button pressed and
release the clamping screw (9) clockwise
with the supplied hex key. Remove the
clamping screw and the outer flange.
2. Press the lock button/plunge lock to lift up
the base plate and put in the blade.
3. Hold the spindle lock button pressed in
and turn the blade until the spindle lock is
applied. Firmly tighten the clamping screw.
4. Press the spindle lock button again and
check that the blades is firmly in place.
Do not use the product unless all the parts
are firmly in place and working properly
– risk of personal injury and/or material
damage.

ADJUSTING THE SAWING DEPTH
NOTE:
Always adjust the correct sawing depth for
the workpiece. No more than 6 mm of the
teeth on the blade should stick out under the
workpiece. More than this increases the risk
of kickback
1. Remove the battery before working on the
product.
2. Release the clip to adjust the depth.
3. Set the required sawing depth according
to the scale.
4. Tighten the clip to lock the sawing depth.
FITTING THE PARALLEL FENCE
WARNING!
Remove the battery before working on the
product.
1. Put the parallel fence in the three slots in
the front edge of the base plate, starting
from the left side of the plate.

2. Move the parallel fence through the slots
so that it sticks out on the right side of the
base plate.
3. Adjust the parallel fence to the required
sawing width and tighten the locking
screw for the middle slot to lock the
parallel fence.

FITTING THE DUST EXTRACTION
ADAPTER
A dust extraction adapter (14) is included with
the product. It is used to remove dust and
shavings from the work area.
1. Put the small end of the adapter in the
dust extraction port on the product.
2. Connect the other end of the adapter to a
dust extraction hose.

Starting
1. Connect a fully charged 18 V battery
intended to be used with the Meec Tools
Multiseries (battery and charger can be
bought in Jula’s department stores and at
www.jula.com).

2. Press the lock button (1).
3. Press the power switch (2) and release the
lock button (1).
