When used outdoors the product must be
connected to the mains supply via a residual
current device with a tripping current of ≤ 30 mA.
ELECTRONIC SOFT START
The electronic soft start function is automatic and
ensures soft starting and smooth acceleration.
SPEED CONTROL
A top speed limit from MIN to MAX can be
preset with the speed control (4).

1. Start the product with the control in
position 1 (low speed).
2. Set to a higher speed if necessary when
the product is running.
3. The best speed to use depends on the
material. Practise by trial and error.
POWER SWITCH LOCK FOR
CONTINUOUS OPERATION
1. Press the power switch (6).
2. Press the power switch button (5) to its
end position with your thumb.
3. Lift your thumb off the power switch
button – the switch is now locked in on
mode.
PREPARATIONS
• Wash the surfaces to be polished and
allow to dry. Use a wax dissolving
detergent and if necessary a cold
degreaser to remove spots of asphalt.
Small spots of rust or contaminants
outside the paintwork can require the use
of clay bar.
• Mask adjacent and unpainted plastic and
rubber parts with suitable tape.
• The surface should be lit up, some defects
are only visible in good lighting.

• Hold the product firmly with both hands
by the handle and grip.

FITTING THE SUPPORT HANDLE
The support handle (8) can be fitted on the
right or left side of the product, depending
on the application, and screws on with the
supplied hex key.

FITTING/REPLACING ACCESSORIES
1. Clean the spindle (1) and all parts to be
fitted.
2. Screw the disc support plate (9) on the
spindle (1). Press in the spindle lock
button (2) to prevent it rotating.
NOTE:
The spindle lock button must only be pressed
when the spindle is not moving or is slowly
turned by hand.
3. Press the polishing bonnet (10) in place
on the velcro surface on the disc support
plate (9).
4. Remove in the reverse order.
USING OUTDOORS
If the product is used outdoors, only use an
extension cord approved for 10 A and outdoor use.
