1 Safety Information

• Do not leave the device unattended when it is in operation.
• Only store the device in locations, which are out of reach of
children.
• If you have health concerns of any kind, contact your general
practitioner.
• People with eye- or retinal diseases, with optic nerve impair-
ments as well as diabetics or people with similar health prob-
lems need to check with their doctor beforehand, if the use of
this device is uncritical for them.
• The light tube contains a small amount of mercury sealed within
the glass tubing, when a tube breaks in your home, some of
this mercury is released as mercury vapor. To minimize expo-
sure to mercury vapor, we recommend that you leave the room
and that you airing out the room for at least 5-10 minutes by
opening a window or door to the outdoor environment. Shut off
the central forced air heating/ air-conditioning system, if you
have one.
