Blocking of functions
The bed allows disabling the individual positions configuration when any of them could
harm the patient. For that, blocking keys are used in nurse panel in the following way:
1.
Depending on the function that is desired to be blocked, press the lock key
(number S14 on nurse panel) during 1 or 2 seconds. At the same time, press the
key of the function that must be blocked.
The orange led light of lock key will flash while it is pressed. Once the function
is blocked, the led light of the function will flash also.
2.
To unblock the function, press again lock key during 1 or 2 seconds and at the
same time press the key of the function you desire to unblock.
If the led light is off, the function is unblocked
CPR and Trendelemburg / Reverse Trendelemburg positions cannot be blocked

Patient handset.
It is used for patient to adjust any position. Procedure to do it is the same as nurse
panel:
1.
Check that the led on handset is on (in Green colour). This indicates that
the handset is working.
2.
Press the selected key, and maintain it pressed to achieve the desired
position.
We recommend placing the handset hanged on the siderails (though the hook placed on
the back side of the handset)
Medical staff must train the patient before use.
If medical staff knows that patient condition avoids the patient to adjust
the bed, place the handset out of his control or block functions in nurse
panel, as described previously.

1-2: Backrest adjustment
3-4: Leg section adjustment
5-6: Auto contour: backrest and legrest sections
adjust at the same time
7-8: Height adjustment
9: Exit position: bed achieves its lowest position,
backrest section is adjusted at 30º, and legrest
section achieves its horizontal position
10 – Cardiac chair position
11 – GO button (on)
12 – Light: when pressed, the light under the bed is
on. This is optional. If the bed does not include night
light, this button won’t work
