The RETURN (or ENTER ) key is identified by an arrow point-
ing to the left. Press ENTER to confirm preset or manually
entered commands. In application programs, such as a word
processing program, ENTER moves the cursor to the start of
the next line. The ENTER key in the number pad has the
same function as the RETURN key.

SHIFT
AND
CAPS-LOCK K
EYS
There are two SHIFT keys, which are identified by a wide
arrow pointing upward. When the SHIFT key is pressed, let-
ters entered are shown as capitals. For other keys the char-
acters shown in the top section of the key will be displayed.
The
CAPS-LOCK key is identified by a wide arrow pointing
downward. When this key is pressed it has the same effect
as the
SHIFT key being held down continuously.
