camera to your PC and edit the images using this connection.

Usually this type of device can be connected while the
PC is in use, but it is a good idea to read the manuals
of all the devices you connect to your PC before in-
stalling them.

The voltage outputs of your PC for IEEE 1394 (6-pole)
as well as for USB are protected by a fuse (limited
power source according to EN60950). This ensures
that a malfunction of the PC will not damage the pe-
ripheral devices connected to the respective jacks.
