You have a choice of several connection sockets.
It does not matter which you use.
1.
If you wish to use a
printer
,
scanner
or other
device with a USB port, connect the cable to the
USB socket on your PC.

Finally, connect the power supply to your PC and monitor, by
plugging the power cord into the outlet. Observe the follow-
ing
safety precautions
:
•
The power socket must be in the vicinity of the PC
and within reach of the power cables.
DO NOT
stretch the power cables tightly to reach a
power socket
.
•
In order to disconnect your PC from the power source,
or set the PC to voltage free, remove the power cord
from the socket. Use
only
the supplied power cord.
•
To provide additional protection against electric
shock, power surges, lightning strikes, or other elec-
trical damage to your PC, we recommend the use of a
surge protector
.
•
If you are using an
extension cord
, ensure that the
cord meets your local safety
requirements. If in
doubt, ask an electrician.
•
The power supply unit has an On/Off switch (
X2
) that
can be used to power off the PC. When the switch is
Off
no power is being consumed.
