Connecting a video camera
Using the AV cable, connect the AV output sockets on your camera to the input sockets on your DVD
recorder, as shown lower left. If you wish to connect your camera via a Firewire cable (not supplied),
connect the Firewire plug to the DV input behind the recorder's front cover.
Connecting a device to the USB connection
You can connect a digital camera or an MP3 player, for example, to the USB connection located on the front
of the DVD/video recorder. This allows you to do the following:

play music and image files located on an external device;

Connect the USB cable (not supplied) to the USB connection on the front of the DVD/video recorder.

Connect the other end to the digital camera, the MP3 player or the particular external device.
