You can only connect one Bluetooth device to the party sound system at
a time. You cannot connect it to a smartphone and an audio output
source at the same time.
11.5.1. Bluetooth-enabled output device
To connect a Bluetooth-enabled audio output device:
Switch the party sound system on. Then press the
FUNCTION/
button to
select Bluetooth mode.
This switches the device to search mode. During the search the
PAIR
LED flashes
blue rapidly and
bt
appears in the display.
The device automatically attempts to connect to the last audio output
device it was connected to via Bluetooth. If this is not possible, the
loudspeaker sends its device identification via Bluetooth and the
PAIR
LED flashes blue rapidly.
Press the
FUNCTION/
button if the device is not in Bluetooth mode.
Now, switch on the Bluetooth function on your audio output device and enable
search mode to pair the two devices with each other.
You will find more information about the Bluetooth function and the
operation of your audio output device in the relevant operating
instructions.
The device name of the party sound system (MD 44555) is displayed as soon as it
finds a signal.
If you are prompted to enter a password, enter
0000
.
Device pairing is complete when the LED indicator lights up blue and a signal tone
sounds.
The following functions can be controlled via the party sound system on your
output device:
Press the
/
PAIR
/
SCAN
button briefly to start playing tracks.
To pause playback, press the
/
PAIR
/
SCAN
button again.
Press the
/TUN.-
button to return to the previous track.
Press the
/TUN.+
button to skip to the next track.
The volume can be adjusted on the party sound system as well as on the
audio output device connected via Bluetooth.
We recommend that you set the volume on your Bluetooth-enabled
output device to maximum and fine-tune the volume on the party
sound system.
Please note that not all operating functions may be available due to the
different firmware and software versions.
Press and hold the
/
PAIR
/
SCAN
button for approximately 2 seconds to
disconnect the Bluetooth connection and start a new pairing process.
