13.1.3. AUX IN operation
You can connect a device with a LINE OUT output (e.g. a CD player) to the device’s
AUX IN input using a cable with a 3.5mm jack plug.
Switch the device on by pressing .
If necessary, press the
FUNCTION
button until the operating mode
AUX
ap-
pears on the display.
13.2. Note on MP3 players
An MP3 player can also be connected to the USB slot in principle. However, we can-
not guarantee that all MP3 players available on the market can be played back via
the USB connection.
In some cases, you may need to use the AUX IN slot.
13.3. Simple playback functions
Press the
button to start the playback. The number of the current track and
playback time is displayed.
Press the
button to pause the playback. The playback time flashes.
Press the
button again to resume playback from the same point.
Press the
button to stop playback. The device is now in stop mode and the to-
tal number of tracks and directories are displayed.
13.4. ID3 Tags
During playback you can view the track’s ID3 tag by pressing the
INFO
button.
The track name and other information that was assigned when creating the me-
dium are displayed.
Press the
INFO
button again to hide the scrolling text.
13.5. Skip/search
Press the
or
buttons to jump backwards or forwards to a track. While a
track is being played, you can press
to skip to the beginning of the current
track.
If you hold down the
or
buttons during playback you start fast forwarding
or rewinding.
