Closes serial port.
Example:
The front panel display indicates the status of the serial ports
set serial
<portnumber> "<baud> <databits> <parity> <stopbits>"
Sets up communication for serial port .

: serial port number

baud
: baud rate
•
databits
: data bits (typically 8)
•
parity
: ‘N’ none, ‘O’ odd or ‘E’ even
•
stopbits
: stop bits (typically 1)
Example:
set rts
<portnumber> <"on"|"off"|"hchk">
Sets RTS of serial port
<portnumber>

“hchk” turns on hardware handshaking for RTS/CTS
Example:
