Selecting the
Templates Menu
enables you to select the layout for your recorded
material. The layout you select depends upon the information you need to capture, how
many streams are being used in your videoconference or presentation and the type of
display used for playback. Different layouts are available for different layouts of the
recorded material. There are templates for
Video1
only,
Video2
only,
Video1
with
high-resolution
Content
etc. Each of the Template titles refer to the rear panel input
connections. For example, if your local camera is connected to the
Video1
input and
the far-end camera view is connected to the
Video2
connector, then selecting the
Video1 and Video2
template will show both camera views side-by-side on the display.
If you are in a video only conference and only have one camera image on screen, you
would select the
Video1
template that captures the input of the
Video1
input on the
rear of the
DMR300
. If you have a full videoconference with both near and far-end
video camera views as well as high-resolution content, then you would probably want to
select the
Content Video1 and Video2 Overlay
template. If you are going to display
the archived videoconference on a 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen display, you would
select the
Widescreen Content Video1 Video2
display. This template shows the
high-resolution content in a full 4:3 aspect ratio on the main part of the display and the
near and far-end video streams in separate picture-in-picture windows on the side of the
display.
