User’s Guide

Recording Information and Playback Window

This area of the

Recordings Menu

screen show information on each recording currently

residing on the hard drive. By selecting a recording from the list, information about that

recording is displayed in the information area above the preview window. This

information includes: the name of the selected recording, the directory path of each
stream recorded and the duration of the recordings.

Next to each directory path for each recorded stream are two buttons –

Play

and

Download

. These buttons allow users to either play the recorded stream locally on a

PC using a Windows

Media File compatible viewer or download the file for later viewing

on the PC.

The

Play

button will open the Windows

Media File viewer currently installed on the PC

and play the file. In order to play the file, a Windows

Media File viewer application is

required.

The

Download

button will download the entire file to the users PC. A pop-up dialog

box will ask for a file location and name for the saved file. You can accept the default
name given of the recording or you can rename the file with a more descriptive name.
