Leak in system
Acoustic signal will sound when the Invia Motion NPWT pump detects a
leak and leakage symbol will appear on the display.
Troubleshooting:
Inspect dressing site for leaks and make sure the Invia Motion canister/
tubing set quick-connector is fully engaged. Check that canister is
secured to the pump. If a leak is identified at the dressing site, press
down on dressing to seal.
The notification symbol and the acoustic signal may still be active, even if situation is resolved.
Wait for some time to let the pump react. If acoustic signal and leakage symbol do not disappear, switch
Invia Motion NPWT Pump off and follow instructions in chapter "Operating instructions" to change the Invia
Motion canister/tubing set.
If leak is not resolved, switch Invia Motion NPWT pump off and contact your healthcare
professional to replace dressing and restart therapy.
If blockage is identifed along canister tubing, switch Invia Motion NPWT pump off and follow instructions in
chapter "Operating instructions" to change the Invia Motion canister/tubing set. If the used canister is not the
correct one, switch the Invia Motion NPWT pump off, remove the canister. Attach a new canister:
087.4016.
If blockage is identified along dressing tubing, switch Invia Motion NPWT pump off and contact your healthcare
professional to replace dressing and restart therapy.
If Invia Motion NPWT pump detects blockage in the intermittent mode, it will continue to run in the on-state until
blockage is resolved.
The notification symbol and the acoustic signal may still be active, even if situation is resolved.
Wait a short time for the pump to react.
