Processing
6.1 Error Processing
(1) Operation when an error is detected
The printer executes the following operations when detecting an error:
• Stops all mechanical operation.
• ERROR LED on.
(2) Data reception error
If any of the following data reception errors occur during communication, the printer prints " ? "
or ignores the data, according to the setting of DIP switch.
• Parity error
• Framing error
• Overrun error
6.2 Error Recover
(1) TPH Overheating
When a temperature of TPH decreases, an error will be cleared automatically.
(2) Cutter Error
When the printer is re-powered up, an error is cleared after once motion of a cutter. If not,
please contact us for factory service or please contact your local agent, distributor, or service
facility.
(3) No Paper
When paper is supplied, an error will be cleared.
(4) Paper Near-End
When new paper is supplied, an error will be cleared.
