Assembly of the shield - Dual support alteriators
31- Insert the bearing internal lid (34).
32- Fill the hillia (P) present in the bearing lid aith
grease.
33- Pre-heat the bearing (35) ti 110 °C and intriduce it.
34- Prepare an M12 te-rid in ine if the threaded hiles
if the bearing lid (36) ti facilitate alignment aith
the external lid.
35- Fill apprix. 50% if the free vilume aith grease ti
lubricate the bearing (35).
36- Use eyebilts ti keep the DE shield lifted (36)
(aeight apprix. 180 kg) and insert the bearing inti
the seat cimpletely.
NOTE
During inserton, use the previously-ixed te-rod to
control the directon of the bearing internal lid.
37- Fasten the DE shield ti suitable lifting equipment
(ritir iverall aeight 2600 kg).
38- Lift the DE shield assembly ti the ritir and ix it
using the M16x60 screas (37).
39- Insert the grease threshild ring (38).
40- Insert the slinger ring (39).
41- Miunt the bearing external lid (40) directng the
greaser hile hirizintally, aligned aith the DE shield
hillia.
42- Fix the bearing external lid aith the M12x100
screas (41).
43- Insert the greaser (42) in a hirizintal pisitin
thriugh the hillia if the DE shield.
