Error Indicators
The following error indicators are provided:
Table 2-1 Error LED Indicators
LED Color Condition Description
Power Green On Power on.
Green Blinking Power saving mode (sleeping)
Off Power is off.
Status Green On System ready
Amber Blinking System is ready but operating with degraded
performance due to memory or CPU failure. Replace the
unit.
Amber On System failure which can be caused by a power module
failure, fan failure, voltage failure, or critical temperature
(overheating). Replace the unit.
Off System not ready which indicates a post error/NMI
event, or CPU failure. Replace the unit.
HDD Green Blinking Accessing data.
HDD Alert Amber On HDD failure. Replace HDD.
Off No data access and no HDD failure.
NMI Amber On Non Maskable Interrupt (NMI) PCI bus failure. For this
LED to operate, the NMI setting must be enabled in the
unit BIOS. (This is not the default value). If NMI is
enabled and the LED is on, replace the unit.
