Connection
Before connecting it, disconnect the active cross-over and all other devices which are to be
connected to it from the mains voltage (unplug mains plug from the socket).
Only connect the device with suitable connection cables. Use of wrong cables may cause
interferences or safety problems.
To avoid distortion or mismatches that may damage the active cross-over, the in- and outputs
must only be connected to suitable devices with the corresponding in- or output. On this,
observe the connection values in the chapter “Technical Data”.
Please make sure that only one type of connection is used at a time. Use either the cinch or the
XLR connection of a connection pair. Connecting several output types at once may lead to
interference or damage devices.
Cables are important connection links in the system. Therefore, use high-quality, step-proof cables with
high-quality plugs and audio cables that are shielded accordingly.
a) Connecting the Input
• Connect the audio input of your mixer either to the LINE IN (8) XLR connection or the LINE IN (9) cinch connection.
b) Connecting the Outputs
• Connect the audio input of your subwoofer amplifier either to the SUB OUT (10) XLR connection
or the SUB OUT (11) cinch connection.
• Connect the audio input of your satellite speaker amplifier either to the SAT OUT (12) XLR connection
or the AT OUT (13) cinch connection.
