8. Connection to the audio system
The CD player is equipped with OUTPUT RCA sockets (25) for each drive for connection to your audio system (e.g.
mixing desk).
To connect the outputs, only use shielded cables. The use of other cables might cause
interferences.
To avoid distortions or mismatches which could damage the device, only connect devices with
the same connection type.
Also note the information under „Specifications“.
• Connect the OUTPUT 1 connections (25) to a free input of your mixing desk or pre-amplifier.
• Connect the OUTPUT 2 connections (25) to another free input of your mixing desk or pre-amplifier.
• Always connect the white socket to the left input and the red socket to the right input.
9. Mains connection
The mains socket used with the CD player must be easily accessible, so that the device can be
quickly disconnected in case of an error.
The CD player and all connected devices must be switched off when the power supply is
connected.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different devices
and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions.
• Connect the small connection plug of the power line to the mains connection AC IN (24) on the device.
• Plug the power plug into a wall socket.
• Use the power switch (1) to switch the CD player on or off (when the switch is depressed, the device is turned
on).
