Installing the device may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the
hazards involved and the relevant regulations. The maintenance, operation and commissioning
of this product may only be carried out by qualified persons.
When choosing a location for your device, make sure to avoid shocks, vibration, dust, hot and
cold temperatures and dampness. Furthermore, no powerful transformers or motors must be
used close to the device.
When setting up/installing the device, make sure that the power cord and the remote control
cable are not crushed and cannot be damaged by any sharp edges.
Do not use the device on flammable surfaces or in the proximity of flammable objects. Maintain
a distance of at least 3m to flammable objects.
Make sure that the fog output opening is not directed towards persons, animals or open fires.
The emerging hot steam may lead to burns (keep a safety distance of 1m)!
Ensure a sufficient ventilation of the device, maintain a free zone of 0.5m around the device and
never cover the ventilation openings.
Always place the appliance on a stable base. Ensure that it does not fall down and cause injury.
The operating position of the device is either horizontal or vertical. If it is set up vertically or
mounted on the wall, the fog fluid tank may only be half filled in order to avoid that it leaks when
being filled and during operation.
The device must be installed/set up out of normal reach. If the fog machine is operated in an
elevated location, make sure no one can enter the space beneath it (danger of slipping and
injury through hot fog liquid and its residues).
During installation and service work, the area underneath the place of installation must be
cordoned off.
The area or equipment of installation/setup must be designed in such a way that it can support
the tenfold rated load for at least one hour without being deformed permanently.
In addition, the device must be secured with a second independent safety fixture besides the
actual installation fixture when installed/set up in an elevated position. If the main support
system fails, no part of the installation must fall down.
All statutory regulations applicable in the respective country must be observed when installing/
setting up the device.
