Dear Customer, the following safety notices are intended not only for the protection of the device but also
for the protection of your health. Please read the following points carefully:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and approval reasons
(CE).
• The device is constructed according to protection class 1. Only a standard power socket (230 V~/50 Hz) of the
public mains supply system with earthing contact may be used to operate the device.
• Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under mechanical stress.
Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable through extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable.
Otherwise, the mains cable could be damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
• If the mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the circuit
breaker) and then pull the mains plug out of the mains socket carefully. Do not use the product anymore
afterwards but bring it to a specialised workshop.
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this fog machine must be trained and
qualified correspondingly and observe these operating instructions.
• The device must be disconnected from mains voltage when not in use. Pull the mains plug. If you cannot access
the mains plug due to installation, for example, you have to disconnect all poles from the mains.
• Consult an expert when in doubt as to the operation, the safety or the connection of the device.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children! Children cannot judge the dangers
involved when handling electrical devices. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
• Do not place any containers with liquids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants in the immediate proximity of the
product. Liquids could get into the device and impair its electrical safety. There also is a high risk of fire or of a
life-threatening electric shock. If this is the case, first power the respective socket down (e.g. switch off circuit
breaker) and then pull the mains cable from the socket. Disconnect all cables from the device. After that, the
product must no longer be used; take it to a specialist workshop.
