Internetconnection
Selection field with the available options (depending on device and device
type) how you want to connect to the Internet.
External Router
To connect the device through an external router to the In-
ternet, you need to assign the device an IP address from the
range of the external router. Enter the external router in "De-
fault Gateway". Furthermore, you must specify the address
of the DNS server so that a DNS resolution is performed.
External DSL Mo-
dem
To connect to the Internet via a DSL modem, you need login
information. This login information you get from your Internet
service provider (ISP).
Modem
Depending on the device and device type, the connection is
made to the Internet via the internal modem.
WiFi
Depending on the device and device type, the connection is
made to the Internet via an Access Point.
Failover (WAN ->
Modem)
Depending on the device and device type, the connection
takes place primarily via the WAN interface. If the connec-
tion can not be established or is interrupted, the device
switches to connect using the internal modem.
Failover (WAN ->
WiFi)
Depending on the device and device type, the connection
takes place primarily via the WAN interface. If the connec-
tion can not be established or is interrupted, the device
switches to connect using an Access Point (WiFi).
Test connection
If this box is checked, the entered test address is pinged in the specified
test interval. Make sure that the entered test address is accessible secure-
ly permanently.

Interval in which the entered test address is pinged.

Test address that is pinged in the specified test interval. Make sure that
the entered test address is accessible securely permanently.

Proxy Settings
If the connection only be assured using a proxy serv-
er, it may be entered here.
If the HTTP proxy does not require authentication,
then you can ignore the fields for the user data of the
proxy server.
