Step 4
Select wash/
spin speed
Your washer has selectable wash and spin
speed combinations.
Step 5
Select wash/
rinse temperature
Your washer provides you with a choice of
hot, warm or cold water for washing and
cold or warm water for rinsing.
REMEMBER: In wash water temperatures
below 65° F, detergents do not dissolve well
or clean well. Care labels define cold water
as up to 85° F.
While the washer is filling, you may notice
just hot and/or just cold water entering the
tub when cold or warm wash temperatures
are selected. This is a normal function of
the automatic temperature control feature
as the washer determines the temperature
of the water.
Step 6
Extra rinse
(if desired)
EXTRA RINSE – This feature is located on
the right side of the control panel. When the
switch is in the “On” position, an additional
rinse at the end of the Normal/Delicate cycle
is provided to more completely remove laun-
dry additives, suds, perfumes, etc.
Step 7
Start washer
• Add detergent and any additives
• Add load and close lid
• Pull the control dial out to start
