When using the unit in a bathroom, disconnect

it after usage, pull the plug out of the socket,
as when water is near it is dangerous even if
the switch is off

For additional protection you can install a re-

sidual current device with nominal current
of operation, not exceeding 30 mA, into the
mains of the bathroom; while installation refer
to the specialist

SAFETY MEASURES
Before using, make sure that your home elec-
•
tricity supply corresponds to the voltage speci-
fied on the housing of the unit.
Never leave the unit unattended.
•
Do not use the unit near aerosols or inflam-
•
mable liquids.
Always unplug the unit after usage and before
•
cleaning.
When taking the plug out of the socket, do not
•
pull the cord, take the plug.
Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
•
Do not place or store the appliance where it can
•
fall into a tub or sink, filled with water, do not
immerse the unit into water or other liquids.
Do not use the unit while bathing.
•
If the unit falls into water, unplug it immediately.
•
And only then you can take it out of the water.
Keep the unit out of reach of children or dis-
•
abled persons. Do not allow them to use the
unit without supervision.
This unit is not intended for usage by children
•
or disabled persons unless they are given all
the necessary instructions on safety measures
and information about danger, which can be
caused by improper usage of the unit.
Do not use the unit when you are drowsy.
•
Take the operating unit in the zone of the han-
•
dle. Do not touch the edges of the body of the
unit while operating.
Be careful! The operating surface remains hot
•
for some time after unplugging of the unit.
Do not use the unit to straighten absolutely wet
•
hair or synthetic wigs.
Avoid contact of the heated surfaces with your
•
face, neck and other parts of your body.
Do not place the unit on heat-sensitive sur-
•
faces, soft surface (a bed or a sofa), do not
cover it.
While operation unwind the power cord at full
•
length.
The power cord should not:
•
– touch hot objects,
– run through sharp edges,
– be used as a handle for carrying the unit.
Check the cord integrity periodically.
•
Do not use the unit if the plug or the power
•
cord is damaged, if the unit malfunctions or if
the unit fell into water. In this case contact the
authorized service center.
Let the unit cool down completely before tak-
•
ing the unit away for keeping and never wind
the power cord over the unit.

OPERATING RULES
Switching on the unit
Unpack the unit and unwind the power cord
•
fully.
Before using the unit for the first time, make
•
sure that your home electricity supply corre-
sponds to the voltage specified on the housing
of the unit.
Place the unit on the flat stable heat-resistant
•
surface or hold it in your hand.
Insert the plug into the socket, set the power
•
switch (3) to the “ON” position, the indicator
(2) will be red.
Wait for several minutes until the unit heats
•
up.
After usage set the power switch (3) to the
•
“OFF” position, the indicator (2) will go out.
Take the plug out of the socket and wait until it
•
cools down completely.
