MENU 5 Program mode
The Menu
“Program
Mode” provides access to the
Access Level 3,
reserved for technicians and system installers.
To consult the programming advanced instructions, in Access Level 3,
continue to the page 12 for the section -
ADVANCED PROGRAMMING
.
DIRECT ACCESS KEYS - Level 2
The Crossfire LCD has dedicated keys for direct acting of the key features
under normal useas specified in EN54-2. To access the functions of these
keys, the control panel must be previously in in access level 2, accessed
by pressing the button “Access” for 3 seconds.If you press a key for direct
access without being access on level 2, will appear on the display the message a mensagem “Error keys
inactive”.
Silence Buzzer
(functionality also accessible at level 1)
To silence buzzer you should:
1.
Press
the button “Buzzer”.
Control Panel buzzer, works for acoustic notification of events on Control Panel. Every time an alarm or
fault occurs, the buzzer will start working. The same applies when you operate the Control Panel, or
when navigating the menus. If you want to temporarily disable the buzzer (f.ex during a consultation
event, or a programming, you must press the button fo
r 3 seconds, the message “Buzzer Silenced.”
Disable Sirens
To disable the outputs of sirens you should:
1.
Activate the keyboard
2.
Press
the button “Mute|Evac” (one touch).
3.
Check the LED “disable” stays active.
4.
Appears on the display the message “Sirens Disable”
NOTE: TO DISABLE SIRENS, THE CONTROL PANEL SHOULD BE IN STANDBY
Disable sirens are not activated during an alarm event
Silence the sirens during an alarm event
To silence the sirens in an alarm event you must:
1.
Silence the buzzer
2.
Keyboard active
3.
Press
the button “Mute|Evac” (one touch).
4.
The Control Panel indicates the external siren stop by a long beep.
You
can reactivate the sirens pressing the button again “Sil|Evac” (one touch).
Evacuation
To enter in evacuation mode you should:
1.
Activate the keyboard
2.
Press
the o button “Mute|Evac” continually until you hear sequence
of 3 BIPS.
3.
The Led
“Alarm”
is fied. The display shows the message
“Evacuation
Active”.
In evacuation mode the Central panel activates immediately the two outputs
siren, plus the relay output alarm.
