10 Install your external devices. Be aware that for your monitors to
function properly, you must connect them before starting up your
system. Refer to
Appendix A, “DigiDesktop Cables and Connectors,”
on page 39 for details on DigiDesktop cables and connections.
11 You are now ready to configure your BIOS settings as explained in the
following section.
Configuring your system BIOS settings
For DigiDesktop to function properly as a part of your PCI-based
computer system, you may have to change certain BIOS settings.
Selecting
Optimal
under
Defaults
will suffice in most cases. However, if
the BIOS on your PCI system allows for enabling/disabling of interrupts,
interrupt selection, and enabling/disabling of bus mastering for individual
slots, configure the slot you've chosen for DigiDesktop to the settings
outlined below.
The method for accessing the BIOS settings varies from one system to
another. Please refer to your computer system's manuals for the correct
procedure.
