Matrix ETERNITY Quick Start

•

If PPPoE server does not provide the DNS address, program the DNS
Address/DNS Name as provided by your Internet Service Provider.

•

If DNS address is provided by the PPPoE server, set the ‘DNS
Connection Type’ to Auto.

•

To configure SIP Extensions with the VoIP Card, configure the following
parameters:
•

IP Address and Subnet Mask of the LAN Port of the VoIP Card. The default
IP Address is 192.168.002.031. You can assign only Static IP to the LAN
Port. The default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0

•

Dynamic DNS (DynDNS.org) settings to sync the updating of IP Address of
SIP Extension devices. The VoIP card supports Dynamic DNS Server client
of the Service Provider Dynamic DNS.org.

•

VoIP Server Domain, if you want SIP clients to register with the Registrar
Server of the VoIP card using the domain handled by the VoIP Card.

SIP Trunks

To configure SIP Trunks go to ‘SIP Trunk Parameters’.

To configure Proxy SIP Trunk:

•

Assign the VoIP Port to be used for the SIP Trunk.

•

Enable the SIP Trunk.

•

Program the SIP ID, Registrar Server Address, Registrar Server Port,
Authentication ID, Authentication Password as provided by your ITSP.

•

If your ITSP uses Outbound Proxy, Enable the Outbound Proxy for the SIP
Trunk and also program the Outbound Proxy Server Address and Port as
provided by your ITSP.

SIP Extensions

ETERNITY supports upto 999 SIP extensions on its VoIP Card, depending on the
model you have.

To configure SIP Extensions,

•

Go to ‘SIP Extension General Parameters’ under ‘VoIP Configuration’.
