available and whether all handles and parts are
securely fitted.

in these instructions and on your tool. Make a

the signs and symbols correctly, your work with

4. Proper usage
•
The biscuit jointer is designed for cutting
grooves for connections with flat dowels in solid
wood, plywood, particle board, fibreboard, acry-
lic glass and Keene’s cement.
•
The manufacture assumes no liability whatsoe-
ver for improper use or if the machine has been
tampered with.
•
Give equal attention to the safety instructions,
assembly and operating instructions as well as
prevailing accident preventions regulations.
5. General safety instructions
Some basic safety precautions must be
observed for using electric tools to reduce the
risk of fire, electric shock and injury. These
precautions include those set out below. Read
these instructions before using this product and
keep the manual in a safe place.
1. Keep your workplace clean. Untidiness at the
workplace can cause accidents.
2. Take care of the area around where you are wor-
king. Do not allow the electric tools to become
wet and do not use it in wet or damp areas.
Provide good lighting at the workplace. Do not
use any electric tools if there is a risk of fire or
explosion.
3. Protection from electric shocks. Avoid physical
contact with earthed surfaces (for example
pipes, fans, ovens and coolers).
4. Keep children away from the area. Do not allow
onlookers to touch the tool or the extension
cable. Keep all onlookers away from the work-
place.
