[Note: by default, the configuration option to ignore date/year- encoding information
is enabled]
This default setting results in the time code display of date (and year) information being
displayed and interpreted as January 01, 2000 for both date encoded and non-date
encoded types of incoming time code. The time information will be decoded correctly.
To utilize the automatic DST feature of this product, the
Use date information encoded in
time code
must be selected and the incoming time code must have the date/year encoding
to one of the aforementioned standards.
