Product description
Type
STANDARD
Type
S
Type
SA
Type
F
The
STANDARD-
type has no control function and is mainly used for mobile application (plug & work).
The model with
EXTERNAL FLOAT-SWITCH
(
S
) has an external float-switch that starts and stops the
pump at stationary installation depending on the liquid level. It can be switched on by connecting the plug to
a power supply. The pump is serially equipped with a non-return valve.
The model with the
INTERNAL FLOAT-SWITCH/ALARM
(
SA)
has a fully integrated float-switch that starts
and stops the pump depending on the liquid level at stationary operation. In addition the pump can be
operated manually by continuously pressing down the toggle. In case of an inflow rate above the delivery
rate of the pump or a breakdown of the float-switch the pump starts operating automatically and an alarm
resounds (from the plug casing). After connection the pump to the power supply the controlsystem performs
a selftest. The pump starts automatically for ca. 3 sec.If the pump is continuously starting only over the in
the handle integrated alarm-contact indicates a malfunction (further action described in section 4.)
The pump is serially equipped with a non-return valve.
The model
FLATSUCTION (F)
is ready tointake lowest water levels. It is mainly used for mobile application
(plug & work). The pump is serially equipped with a non-return valve.

Mobile application
In the case of an outdoor application always comply with the regulations acc. to DIN/VDE
0100 part 702. Make sure that the plug does not get wet.
The
STANDARD
-type switches on after connecting the plug to the power supply, the
S-
type starts by lifting
the float-swich in addition. In the manual mode the
SA
-type runs by continously pressing down the toggle.
Never lower the pump by the power connection line or pressure line into the
liquid.
Mind the max. submersion depth of 10 m / 32 ft. Keep the pump under surveillance during operation to be
able to switch it off in case of a breakdown. Clean the pump after operation (described in section 4).
Flat-pumping method (types STANDARD, S and SA only)
In manual operation the pump removes liquid down to a level of a few millimetres (see illustration next
page).
To procced remove the plug from the power supply. Place a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver) into one of the
openings of the strainer and pull it off the pump casing (see illustration section 4).
The pump is now able to suck off the residual liquid in the vertical position.
A firm, flat surface is required for the flat-pumping method. Foils (e.g., pond under foils)
are not a suitable surface. Foils can be sucked into the pump and clog the opening.
Hazard caused by moving parts. After flat-pumping the strainer has to be remounted
immediately. In case of loss or damage it has to be replaced immediately.
