Stationary application
In stationary operation the pump must be installed in compliance to DIN EN 12056 res.
DIN EN 752 and local regulations.
Mind the following when installing:
To install a pump with EXTERNAL FLOAT-SWITCH (S):
Mind the minimum shaft size of l 360 mm x w 360 mm x h 310 mm. Check that the float-switch can move
freely after installation and is not positioned directly under a liquid flow area.
To install a pump with INTERNAL FLOAT SWITCH/ALARM (SA):
Mind the minimum shaft size of l 300 mm x w 300 mm x h 310 mm. Check that the alarm contact (metal-
electrode in the handle) is not positioned directly under a liquid flow area.
The pump without float-switch (STANDARD) is not suitable for stationary installation without an external
float-switch as accessory.
Make sure that the shaft is covered or there is adequade lighting at the point of
installation at stationary operation to reduce the risk of accident. Assure that the power
supply plug is protected from wetness.
Prepare the accessories required for stationary installation (a pressure line of adequate length, fittings of the
right size and fastening material).
The stationary operation of the pump requires a flat, firm surface. Films are not a suitable
surface. Assure a vertical installation, diagonal installation is not allowed. Make sure that
the setup point is protected from sub-zero temperatures.
Assure that the connected pressure line does not exert force on the pump.

Maintenance
The pump is maintenance-free to a large extend. However, it should be cleaned frequently. The intervals for
cleaning depend on on the composition of the liquid being pumped, the solids it contains, and the operating
hours of the pump. Make sure that the pump is disconnected from the power supply during cleaning and is
safe from unauthorized reconnection. The pump should be cleaned after each mobile operatioin and at least
once yearly.
Power supply cable and pump drive unit services are strictly to be done by the
manufacturer.
T
he cleaning intervals must be complied with for the pump to remain safe and for a long
service life. Do not use aggressive detergents.
