BASIC JUMPING TECHNIQUES
BASIC JUMP
• Start in a standing position, part the legs slightly, keep
the head straight.
• Move your arms forward and up and perform
a circular movement.
• After the jump, put your legs together and straighten
your toes.
• Part the legs again slightly when falling back to the
jumping zone.
BREAK MANOEUVRE
• Sometimes you lose control of the jump and fall back
suddenly.
• By making this break manoeuvre, the user will be able
to gain balance and gain control over his jump again.
• Start just like a conventional jump.
• When you fall back, bend your knees immediately and
this will stop your jump.
FALLING ON YOUR HANDS AND KNEES
• Start with a low controlled jump.
• Fall on your hands and knees with a straight back.
• The emphasis is put on your fall on all four points and
and not on the jump height.
JUMPING FROM YOUR KNEES
• Start with a mild controlled basic jump.
• Fall on your knees with a straight back. Straighten your
body and keep your balance with your hands.
• Jump again into the basic position so you wave your
hands up by your side.
JUMPING FROM A SITTING POSITION
• Fall into the sitting position.
• When falling, keep your hands close to your hips in the
jumping zone.
• Return to the straight position so you are pushing with
your hands.
We recommend that all tram-
poline users should properly
read the following jump types.
