Load Timer Sequencing
In this example there will be a sequence of 2
timed events using “Timer Elements” to start the
process of Priming, Pre-heating, and starting a Generator where these items must be handled
in a manner of sequ
ence. First sequence being to “Prime” and “Pre-Heat” and last sequence to
“Start”. The input used to start this sequence is “Discrete I/O 5” (Momentary Input) and called
“Gen Start”. Each “Timer Element” will trigger an ECB / breaker output for each of the three
actions the Generator will need to start (Prime, Preheat, Start). The generator requires 5s to
“Prime”, 10s to “Pre-Heat” and 4s to “Start”.
Step 1
:
Place desired Momentary Input (Discrete I/O 5
) to start the “Timer Elements” for “Prime” and
“Pre-Heat”. Add the output of the Pre-Heat “Timer Output” to another “Timer Element” where
the “Timer Element” has an “On Delay” equivalent to the time the “Pre-Heat” “Timer Element”
is set to (10s). Add the
output of the “On Delay” “Timer Element” to the “Timer Element” that
will be used for the 4s “Start” signal.
