Managing the Camera’s Bandwidth
The
QoS
(Quality of Service) sub-menu allows you to limit the camera’s bandwidth
regarding audio and video streaming, and the Web Setup interface.
Important Note:
Consult your system administrator before entering the DSCP
(Differentiated Services Code Point) codes.
To manage the camera’s bandwidth
1 On the
System Settings
page, click the
Network QoS
tile.
The
QoS
sub-menu appears.
2 Enter the
Management DSCP
code. This code regulates the video streaming to the
Web Setup interface.
3 In the
Stream 1 DSCP
section, enter the
Video
code. This code regulates the video
streaming bandwidth for the first encoding profile to recorders, servers, and video
management applications.
4 In the
Stream 1 DSCP
section, enter the
Audio
code. This code regulates the audio
streaming bandwidth for the first encoding profile to recorders, servers, and video
management applications.
5 Repeat steps 3-4 to mange the bandwidth for the remaining encoding profiles, if
present.
6 Click
Save
to save and apply the changes.
