Configuring the Camera’s Network Settings
To configure the camera to use a static IP address
1 On the
System Settings
page, click the
Network Basic
tile.
The
Network
sub-menu appears.
2 In the
General
section, click
Use fixed IP address
.
3 Enter the new
IP address
for the camera.
4 Enter the network
Subnet mask
.
5 Enter the
Default
gateway
IP address.
6 Enter the IP address for the Primary DNS and Secondary DNS servers.
7 Click
Save
to save and apply the changes.
The camera restarts.
To configure the camera to obtain the network parameters through a router
1 On the
System Settings
page, click the
Network Basic
tile.
The
Network
sub-menu appears.
2 In the
General
section, click
Use PPPoE
.
3 Enter the credentials (
User name
and
Password
) to access the server using a PPPoE
connection.
4 Click
Save
to save and apply the changes.
The camera connects to the remote server through the router and automatically
obtains the network parameters.
To configure communication ports and enable the IPv6 protocol
1 On the
System Settings
page, click the
Network Basic
tile.
The
Network
sub-menu appears.
