RECEPTION OF RDS BROADCASTING
The DV110 provides the following functions for use with the
RDS (Radio Data System).
PTY (Program TYpe) AUTO SEEK
This unit automatically searches for stations transmitting any of
30 different programme types. The following table shows the
programs which can be selected.
1. Press TUNER button

to turn into tuner mode.
2. Press MODE button

3 times to turn into RDS mode.
• FL Display shows like below.
3. Turn the MULTI JOG dial

to select the PTY RDS mode.
4. Push MULTI JOG dial

to confirm it.
• FL Display shows like below.
5. To select a PTY group, turn the MULTI JOG dial
⁄4
until the
specified PTY is shown in the display.
6. Press the MULTI JOG dial
⁄4
, the PTY Auto seek will start.
The tuner will detect each station broadcasting RDS whose
PTY information corresponds to the selected choice.

Start search up for selected
program type station.
7. The auto search will stop at a station with the specified PTY.
To advance to the next RDS station with the specified PTY,
press the
MULTI JOG dial

again within 5 seconds.
To cancel this function, press the MULTI JOG dial
⁄4
during
scanning.
Note:
To change the display from a programme service name to
PTY, press
PTY,CLEAR button

on the remote control for
3 seconds or more.
Blink for three seconds
Note:
When the tuned frequency is over 100MHz, PTY Name is
displayed up to 7 characters.
