• the burner is turned off by turning the gas knobs clockwise, to the
closed position. (burner put down - knob blocked)
• When closing off the flow of gas, before turning off the last burner:
• turn off the valve on the gas cylinder,
• after putting down the flame, close the knob for that burner.
• When the cooker is not in use, the valve of the gas cylinder should
be closed.
Selection of dishes
The dishes for cooking food should not be too tall. Their optimum height
is two-thirds of the bottom’s diameter.
Dishes should be always clean and dry, as that is when they conduct and
retain heat best.
When cooking, the dishes should be covered by lids, which prevents excess
vapours gathering in the kitchen.
