6  Storing the ORKAN VARIO plough

The plough should be stored out of the weather. In the absence of a covered space,

the  agricultural  machinery  may  be  stored  outdoors.  The  plough  should  be  stored  in  a

location where it is not hazardous to people and the environment. In the event of long-

term storage of the agricultural machinery outdoors, maintenance of its working parts

should be repeated if its maintenance layer becomes washed off. After its disconnection

from the tractor, the agricultural machinery should be support on hard and level ground

to  maintain  a  stable  balance. All  working  parts  should  rest  on  the  ground. The  plough

should be lowered gently to avoid working parts impacting with the hard ground. After

the agricultural machinery has been laid up, its suspension should be disconnected and

disengaged from the tractor.

7  Dismantling and disposal

The agricultural machinery, if used in accordance with the instructions given in the

manual, will remain serviceable for many years, but any worn or damaged parts must be

replaced. In the event of damage (cracks in or deformation of the frame) that compromises

the quality of the agricultural machinery and poses a danger if it continues to be operated,

the agricultural machinery must be scrapped. Disassembly of the agricultural machinery

should be carried out by persons who are familiar with its construction. Such dismantling

operations must be performed after the agricultural machinery has been set on a level

and hard surface. Dismantle all the metal parts to be scrapped and send any plastic parts

to a disposal facility. Oil should be poured into a sealed container and sent to a recycling

facility

Warning! Take all necessary precautions when dismantling the agricultural

machinery and use proper tools for the job as well as personal protection

clothing and equipment. Dismantled parts should be disposed of in accordance

with environmental protection requirements.
