Failure to follow the safety rules and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and

/ or serious injury.

Please obey all the safety guidelines and instructions for future.

Used in manual phrase „power tool’ refers equally to the tools connected to the

power main as well as ones powered by battery (without power cord).

Worksite safety

a) Maintain order and keep workplace well lit. Untidiness and unlit areas can cause

accidents.

b) The power tool must not be used in potentially explosive atmospheres or in

locations with flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tool may create sparks

which may ignite dust or fumes.

c) Keep children and other persons away while working with power tool. You may

lose control of the power tool if you are distracted.

Electrical safety

a) Power tool’ plug must match power outlet type. Under any circumstances plug

must not be modified. Do not use any adapters to connect power tool. Original

plugs, matching mains sockets minimize the risk of electric shock.

b) Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and

refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.

c) Protect power tools from rain and humidity as it increases the risk of electric

shock.

d) Power cord is not to be used for carrying tool around, hanging power tool on it nor

disconnecting tool by pulling it strongly. Protect the cable from high temperature,

oils, sharp edges and moving parts. Damaged or tangled power cords increase risk

of electric shock.

e) Working on power tools outdoors, use only the extension cords suitable for

outdoor use. Use of extension cords for the outdoor use minimalizes the risk of

electric shock.

f) If you cannot avoid working in the humid environment, use a differential circuit

breaker. Use of grounded circuit breaker minimizes the risk of electric shock.

Personal Safety

a) Stay focused, watch what you are doing and use common sense when using power

tools. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs,

alcohol or medication.

A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious

personal injury.

b) Use personal protective equipment and always wear protective glasses. Depending

on the power tool used, the use of personal protective equipment such as dust

mask, protective shoes, helmet or ear-muffs, minimizes the risk of injury.

c) Avoid accidentally starting the power tool. Make sure the power tool is turned off

before connecting it to the mains or the battery and before picking it up or carry

ing it. Keeping finger power switch while carrying \or connecting to power when

switched on may cause accident.

d) Remove any accessories or spanners before turning on a power tool.  Tool or

wrench getting into rotating parts of the power tool can cause injury.

e) Avoid unnatural body positions. Make sure you are in a stable position not to lose

your balance. Thanks to this, you will have better control of the power tool in

unforeseen situations.

f) Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear wide clothes or ornaments (e.g. jewelry).

Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, ornaments

(e.g. jewelry) or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

g) If dedusting and / or extraction devices can be used, make sure they are well

connected and properly used. The use of extraction devices reduces the risk

associated with excessive dust.
