4.5 CHIMNEY CONNECTION SCHEMA

Main walls of the building should never be used as chimney wall
element. Unless compulsory, chimney must be inside the building. If
the chimney must pass from outside, the isolation must be done
properly.
•
The chimney must be frequently cleaned in order to avoid forming tar
and soot and clogs that would prevent chimney draught.
•
There shouldn't be foreign objects, cement or surface fragments inside
the chimney, as these would cause narrowing in sections of chimney
and result in decrease on chimney draught.
