Fault on
RLS 1 WR Possible cause Check Rectification
Fans not
operating.
Fault message:
All 3 LEDs on the
RLS 1 WR flash.
The fault
message appears
immediately and
goes out after
approx. 1 minute.
Temperature sensor
failed (not connected,
cable break or short-
circuit).
A temperature
< 5 °C is measured on
the supply air
temperature sensor
(optional).
Check connection.
Check temperature
sensor (at 20°, the
resistance is approx.
12 kOhm).
Check shutter of air
channels and heat
exchanger for ice.
Correctly connect
temperature sensor.
Replace temperature
sensor if necessary.
Clean the air channels.
De-ice the heat
exchanger and increase
EF and AF switching
points using jumper,


Fans not
operating.
No fault
message:
All 3 LEDs on
the RLS 1 WR
are off.
Differential pressure
controller has triggered.
Door contact switch not
actuated (e.g. with front
cover open) or defective.
System is de-energised.
Check differential
pressure controller.
Establish cause of
trigger. If the differential
pressure controller was
triggered, terminals N
and on circuit board
A2 are not connected
electrically.
Check the function of the
door contact switch.
Check fuse and mains
cable.
Take fireplace out of
operation.
Replace differential
pressure controller.
Fit front cover. Replace
defective door contact
switch.
Activate fuse.
