7.3 Faults and their rectification
RLS 1 WR room air control
Always call on the services of a
specialist installer if the error
message continues to appear after a
fault has been acknowledged.
For the fault rectification, cancel
fault message on the RLS 1 WR

Chapter 7.2.1.
Fault on
RLS 1 WR Possible cause Check Rectification
Fans not opera-
ting. All 3 LEDs
on the RLS 1 WR
flash. No supply voltage
to the fans.
Measure supply voltage
of supply air and exhaust
air fan.
(Terminal

(exhaust air/supply air) on
control circuit board A2).
Press the

button for
about 5 seconds.
If the fault is not rectified,
the fault message
appears again after about
1 minute. If this happens,
replace the control circuit
board.
Fans not opera-
ting. All 3 LEDs
on the RLS 1
WR flash. Control circuit board
faulty.
Fan defective
Supply air or exhaust air
defined voltage at the
plug pins < 1.7 V.
Before the measure-
ment, cancel fault
message as described
in Chapter 7.2.1.
Measure the supply air
and exhaust
air defined voltage
(1.7...10 V DC).
Supply air and exhaust
air defined voltage
at plug pins of 1.7...10 V
(value depends on the
set ventilation level).
Replace control circuit
board.
Correct jumper settings.
Should the fault occur
again, replace exhaust
air or supply air fan.
